Capo in the diagram

A capo clamps all strings at one fret and makes it the new "nut." The diagram (or a note above it) then reads "Capo 2" or similar. The shown shapes stay the same — they're just read relative to the capo, not the real nut. That's why a hard song suddenly becomes playable with easy shapes.
